Our winter concert is fast approaching! Grades 3rd-5th and Middle School Band & Choir will be on Thursday, Dec. 16th. starting promptly at 6:30 pm.
(NOTE: The Winter Concert for is scheduled for December 14th at 6:30pm for grades Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd.)
All performers should be well fed, dressed, and back to school by 6:00 PM. Students should report to their assigned seats in the gym. If you arrive after the performance begins, please sit on the bleachers closest to the entrance of the gymnasium.
Our concert “theme” is The North Pole. Students should wear nice, presentable clothes, such as dresses, dress pants, collared shirt, button down shirt, etc. Please no blue jeans. Since it is winter and near the holidays, feel free to dress the part (tastefully please)!
The performances will be held in the gymnasium, with this in mind, below are a couple of reminders about concert etiquette:
- Please remain seated and quiet while the performance is in progress.
- If you need to leave during the performance, please do so in between grade levels or songs.
- Clapping after songs is a great way to show your appreciation for the children’s performance.
- Please keep small children seated with you during the performance.
As this is a student activity, the State’s school mask requirement does still apply – everyone who enters the building must properly wear a mask for the entire time they are inside. Due to capacity limits, we are also going to have to restrict attendance to the concert to immediate family (parents, guardians, and siblings, if necessary) only.
If you have any questions please email me at email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org. We cannot wait to see you all! As always, thank you for your continued support of MOT Charter School and our music program.
