If you are a seventh or eighth grade student considering your future high school, a Shadow visit is a great starting point as you can experience academic and student life first hand. Visiting students will spend the school day attending classes, having lunch, and maybe even catching a school-wide event, with an MOT Charter School student who has similar academic and/or extracurricular interests.

You can submit your Shadow Day request below or call the Admission Office to make your appointment at 302-696-2000.

Here are some of the things you can expect:

Shadow day begins on your scheduled Friday with a parent and/or guardian drop off promptly at 7:45 a.m. Parents will be required to complete a Shadow Visitor Release Form, you may download, complete and bring to school on your scheduled Shadow Day.

Visiting Students: will eat lunch in the cafeteria with their host and may choose to either pack a lunch or purchase the daily lunch special for $2.75. We ask that Students come dressed in a modified school uniform which includes khaki pants or skirt and a collared polo shirt. Any shoe type with closed toes and closed heels is acceptable.

Current MOT Students: should wear your MOT uniform for Shadow Day. You may use your funded lunch account account to purchase lunch for the day.

Students MUST BE picked up at 2:00 pm. Shadowing students are responsible for their own transportation.
